The Department of Nursing is one of first 47 training bases for most-wanted skilled talents in nursing approved by the six Departments and Commissions including Education Department of State. The department has cultivated nearly ten thousand talents since its foundation.

The department has two specialties including nursing and midwifery and a well-organized teaching team with 40 lecturers, and 10 associate professors. Many achievements have been made in science, technology, and academic research. There are 3 excellent courses, among which, the Health Appraisal has been awarded as an excellent course at provincial level. Many research projects have been initiated, more than 30 papers published and 5 teaching materials compiled. There are two specialties including nursing and midwifery. 

Under the guidance of spirit of Tongren Polytechnic, the department of nursing strives to establish a well-organized team with excellent courses so as to cultivate more professional talents contributing the economic and social development.

The department attaches great importance to the cultivation of students' skills and comprehensive qualities. It aims to equip the students with solid professional knowledge and skills. The students of the department have been awarded many times such as the second and third prize obtained in provincial nursing skills competition in 2005 and 2007 respectively, the third prize obtained in the provincial speech competition in 2008, and the first prized and prize for organization obtained in skills competition for nurses in 2010.

Admission Notice

The university would send out admission letter and JW202 in several days after the documents verification. So, be sure about the postal address filled in the application form is correct, and confirm the address with university teacher.

Registration

Admitted students are required to be registered at university on schedule with the original copy of the admission documents
